By Circa24. Not suitable for younger readers. In a world whose ancestors squandered their limited resources, people deal with the loss of energy in a depleted and poisoned world.
Short stories by Circa24. Each character grapples with a problem that can haunt them, or provide salvation.
Ptera Hunter’s first non-fiction book has been published through Benjamin, Ross & Lane Publishers, but we are thrilled to offer you this link to her new book! It explores the natural history of the lie. It looks at how everything from plants and animals to molecules use deceit to survive and thrive.
Ptera Hunter’s short (and totally incomplete) book introduces kids to insects. Illustrated with whimsical cartoons, each page provides cool factoids about an order of insects. The glossary in the back will make the book valuable through college.
Mrs. Burk (second edition) is a monologue poem that explores life through the eyes of this one woman. Sally introduces herself as she languishes, forgotten in a nursing home. The story then winds backwards through her life he story leaves you wondering what might have happened had she been born today.

Beekeeping class: Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping. Dr. Jones (author and master beekeeper) is not one of Prairie House’s authors, but we like her stuff and her commitment to saving bees and providing beekeepers with research-based information. She has worked to bring a greater understanding of bees and beekeeping to the public and has designed beekeeping programs and written extensively on this topic for many years. If you have an interest in bees, or beekeeping, then these classes might be for you.
The book of Rodney is not one of Prairie House’s Publications, but several of us enjoyed it’s wit and characters. It has very specific, Christian world view that could turn some readers off while enthralling others. Rodney must come to grips with his new ability to see angles while Satan tempts him with everything from drugs to cupcakes.
Causes and Involvement: Some of our books deal with difficult issues. If you would like to explore ways of becoming a superhero and combating some of these social ills, please go to our blog by clicking here.
